But, it is not the war in Ukraine bankrupting U.S. Profligate spending by the congress is at the top of my list.
A 'president' bent on spending gazillions of dollars to 'save the planet' on the stupidest things one can imagine . . . (Look, if any of our Presidents REALLY wanted to reduce America's carbon emissions - start by opening Yucca Mountain, get all those spent fuel rods inside, then go nuclear in a BIG way. Retire coal and gas fired power plants as the new nukes go on line.)
Next on my list is the federal spending gazillions of dollars on things that are NOT in the federal governments job description. Welfare is not in the federal governments job description. The federal department of education is not in the federal governments job description. Funding for local law enforcement is not in the federal governments job description. And the list just goes on and on and on . . .
