In clo's case, it's both. She doesn't like to think, so she lets her Masters do that for her. She's unhappy with her circumstances and prefers bringing others down to her level over working her way out of them. That's her idea of 'fairness.' In OCU's case, it's also both: He was taught something when he was young and won't consider the possibility that it was wrong despite the obvious harm it has done in his own community. (But the guy personally lives behind the perceived safety of an automated gate, for crying out loud!)

Democrats lie - it's what they do.
 

They do two things well.

LIE and destroy the average American's economic buying power.

WHY? They believe that by doing this the people whose lives they are making miserable will be dependent upon them, not considering the fact that most will despise them and look for someone else to straighten out the mess.

Except Clo and her band of nitwits. They love high prices and inflation..

WHY? Because they don't have a clue about economics...
