I suspect the correct answer is A.) 'They' don't want to actually solve the problem; and B.) 'They' are more interested in stealing GaZillions of Dollars in the name of the problem.
Obozo stole tens of Billions of Dollars, 'loaned' them out to his campaign contributing friends who were pretending to be 'green energy' companies . . . Then 'They' all went bankrupt so's they wouldn't have to pay the money back.
How many GaZillions of dollars has joey biden stolen in the name of 'global warming' and how many Millions of dollars has he gotten in kickbacks (or campaignn contributions) ??? We don't know and we might never know because our so called 'department of justice' REFUSES to do its job and illuminate the corruption.
Not to mention that the lame-stream media also REFUSEs to their Constitutionally protected job and ferret out the theft and corruption.
So all we need to do is get the Political class interested in lowering Energy costs and because it is nuclear power we do not have carbon emissions that get washed at non-atomic plant so fail to see that problem, but nuclear is the clear path forward for plenty of electrical power that would reduce emissions.
