I find it probable that Russia would have to 'conquer' or otherwise claim the resources of most of Eur-Asia before tackling the United States becomes a 'must'.
With much of Russia's 'ground combat' power obliterated, and their Navy and Air Forces suffering from 'lack of money' . . . I think it more likely Russia will get eaten by China than the other way around. (But both have nukes . . . unlikely either way.)
Russia's imperialistic ambitions have been whacked. At least for now.
