Just my opinion,
BUT

in addition to this pertinent article about the gubmint trying to force the citizenry into battery operated cars that aren't worth the space they take up, and battery replacement is in excess of Ten grand, I cannot understand what RIGHT does the government have to be interfering in American's choices of transportation and vehicles they want to drive.

IMO, this is flat out Dictatorial and Fascist.

The free market MINUS the gubmint should be the deciding factor. I don;t care if someone decides they want to drive one of these things and think they are a crusader for the planet. But what happened to our rights and letting the free market decide?

Its BS about we are running out of fuel for cars and that cars are the bad guys polluting the air.

Ever check the emissions of ONE volcanic eruption?

Hmmmmmm. I know its rather inconvenient to the fairy tale of emissions and killing the atmosphere which does a great job all by itself of refreshing, but at leasttry to make the lies a little more believable.

THIS is ALL about CONTROL. Period..

Let's go back in time when the world was still going thru epochs and periods and transformations. We had volcanic eruptions all over the place and yet, here we are.

So the idea that cars that produce extremely little to no harmful emissions, and lets not forget the trees that clean it up, are somehow going to destroy our atmosphere is a scare tactic and spoken with Forked tongues to serve political purposes..

No wonder I dislike so many politicians. MOST of them are just serial liars. AND almost NONE of them go to Congress to serve WE THE People. They serve whoever pays them the most to buy votes.

Great post Beldin! Glad you took time to put this up !

President Joe Biden promised us that he was going to create a coast-to-coast network of electric vehicle chargers. That hasn't happened. You might remember back in September when Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm attempted to do a four-day electric car caravan from Charlotte, North Carolina to Memphis, Tennessee to show off how well the U.S. charging infrastructure is set up in the United States. She ended up stranded in Georgia when her caravan was unable to find enough plugs to charge itself.

Politico is reporting that even though Congress allocated $7.5 billion to make that nationwide charging network a reality, not a single charger has been installed under the program.

Politico reports:

Consumer demand for electric vehicles is rising in the United States, necessitating six times as many chargers on its roads by the end of the decade, according to federal estimates. But not a single charger funded by the bipartisan infrastructure law has come online and odds are they will not be able to start powering Americans’ vehicles until at least 2024.

Getting chargers up and running across the country is essential to reaching President Joe Biden’s goal of having half the vehicles sold in the United States be electric by the end of the decade — a key cog of his climate agenda. Americans consistently say the lack of charging infrastructure is one of the top reasons they won’t buy an electric car.

Of course, the "bad guys" in this scenario are the Republicans, who are trying to choke off funding for the program.

Eric Pistey (@shawnpisteySC) ~ Another governmental boondoggle at the expense of U.S. taxpayers money. How many more do we have to put up with?

Lady (@lovingit111) ~ Another slush fund.

SatoriVerdure (@SatoriVerdure) ~ Not to mention our electric grid stressed and crumbling even though we spent a trillion on an "infrastructure bill."

SteveInTennessee (@stephen_deakins) ~ But, how much has the project spent? I bet it’s billions.

Brian Katz (@BSKatz) ~ Bidenomics.

Brevard Beach Bum (@BrevardBum) ~ Solyndra.
