Toni Tenille's name also popped up on that other site. So, here are all the contenders. I did my best to get them looking to the left and, if possible, smiling.

Then I had two spots left over, so I added that chick ribit likes. And, finally. Jennifer Aniston.

Based on the photos, if *I* had to put money on one of them, I'd bet it was Diane Keaton.

Unfortunately, Mort Drucker is no longer with us. Unless the anwswer was documented in an interview or in the magazine, I don't think we'll ever know.

Hm. I have all the 1970s issues. I'll see if I can find the one with the pic.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I can certainly see resemblances to all of the ladies you mentioned, although I do not think that is a caricature of either Diane Keaton or Sally Field.

I agree with you about Barbara Feldon ... Get Smart ran from 1965 to 1970 and this was drawn in 1978.

If I was forced to bet money on it ... out of all the names mentioned ... I'd have to lay my money on Linda Ronstadt. She really started hitting her stride in the mid to later seventies.
