I was about to sally forth on an errand I was being sent on by the boss and when I got into my car I could not find my prescription sun glasses.

I turned it inside out looking for them. Then, I went to my other vehicle and ransacked it. Still no luck.

SO, I checked every coat pocket of every coat and or jacket I have. Again, nothing.. Miz micro now got into the act and scoured the bedroom dresser while I looked in my office. Still no trace..

We then proceeded to take apart the sectional, look behind and under it, inside and behind cushions, and proceeded from there to the Family room and did the same thing.

Still no sign of them.

I had enough by this time and promptly went to Optical store I got them at. I tried on a few frames, chose one, ordered the new prescription lenses and coatings I wanted
on them. Paid for them and they said about ten days I should have them. I am delighted except that new prescription glasses are NOT inexpensive.
SO I told Miz micro these would be my Christmas present.

Unfortunately for her, I have not spent anything close to that on her and have no idea what to get her for Christmas anyway. So I am between a rock and hard place.

I am sure Ribit has similar situation at our stages in life. Everything I have acquired and accumulated is in HER name. She is a wealthy woman. She has never worked outside the home in her life. She did an amazing job raising our daughters and feeding us all and doing all the house keeping. Then she raised our grandchildren up until they were in 6th grade. She baby sat them from infancy on and taught them to read and write before kindergarten, count, add basic numbers, etc. My oldest child went to kindergarten reading at a fifth grade level so the teacher had her read books and stories to the class. She did not know what to do with her.

She now today has a Doctorate in Biological science and her younger sister is a top 50 attorney in Virginia.

So we have been blessed and the kids are not dependent on what we leave behind for them.

So this minor little speed-bump is unexpected but annoying..
