My Brooks Ghosts are 11 years old now.. Wear them every day.. The Hoka's I bought are amazing also.. They will be my main shoe after the Ghosts finally wear out..

I have not found a Nike Shoe that is comfortable for ME, but I know other people that don't have that issue.

Anything that says Nike on it for some reason costs a LOT MORE than anything else just as good..

Glad you were able to snag some shoes at a cheap price.

I went to a Running Shoe store to find some good shoes.

They measured my feet and took time to see what would fit my foot shape the best..

Started with some Brooks and then tried on a Hoka..

I am now a fan of HOKA athletic shoes. Extremely comfortable with a BIG toe box area.. I need that..

So I am a HOKA and a Brooks fan.. I cannot wear Nike shoes due to the way they are made or constructed. Glad that You can.. I guess we're all different..

They were $15 a pair at the time. They were great shoes, though they did nothing to protect my ankles. I used to get hurt once or twice per year.

When I was older and living in Virginia, I found a pair of used Nike basketball shoes (high tops) at a West Virginia flea market. They were in good shape, so I bought them for ten bucks. Aside from work, those were my main shoes for YEARS. I wasn't nearly as active by then, but their durability was nothing less than amazing. It's fair to say that I've never had another pair of shoes that lasted nearly that long.
