I might be wrong, but there is one thing I wish Reagan had done . . .
I believe the congress took a thing Reagan could not stomach, and welded it onto a 'must pass' bill Reagan believed we 'had to pass'.
I wish Reagan had taken that 'bill' and called congress into emergency session. Told congress 'This is NOT a bill'. And vetoed the part he didn't like and had congress vote to pass the rest 'as was'.
