The Ohio State team showed up to play futzball against a Missouri team that was at full strength last night.
The Buckeyes offense was terrible mainly due to having to play without its starting QB the entire game and this third stringer was his first time all year behind center.
Needless to say, the offense stank.. It was not the same team that played all year so the Mizzou team looked a lot better than they are.. Glad they felt good about finally beating a team that with its starting lineup all there they would have got thumped by..
Its one of the reasons I dislike these games. Key players who made the team strong all season long are not around due to looking forward to the NFL draft. These games are basically meaningless anyway because the only ones that matter are the playoffs for the national title.
There are Three SEC teams there (counting Texas) and one Big Ten team.. I do not know Michigan's player status but if their whole team shows up to play they will be a challenge for their opponent. So I'll wait until then to see what shakes out.
In the meantime, I think I will root for the underdog in the playoff, Texas. It's good to see them there and I hope they make the most of it...
Ryan Day should be embarrassed as a coach the way that team performed last night. If this kid at QB is who he is going to play at QB next season, the Buckeyes are in deep doo-doo.
