The Lord God has given us another new day and upheld all things by His power as the planets continue to revolve around the Sun and the earth is still rotating on its axis and the Sun came up this morning.
While I wish each of you a successful and Healthy New Year, let's not forget that it is only by HIS power that we are even here to enjoy His creation.
It was Christ who SPOKE and by HIS power created all the Heavens and the earth. All the stars and planets and solar systems and galaxies. Space is still expanding.
And yet the Bible tells us that the Palm of God's Hand can span one end of the universe to the other.
Our view of HIS power and of WHO HE is remains very small and limited to many. It is only by HIS Grace that we exist and have life inside this temporary body HE provided which is corrupt and will decay away. It is a HOUSING for our Spirit which is everlasting...
WHY is it not eternal? Because the word ETERNAL means having no beginning nor end. Man has a beginning. WE are a created being. GOD the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit always were and have no beginning or end.
So GOD always was and always will be.. He has a separate dwelling place HE also created for mankind whose SPIRIT has been RE-NEWED and Transformed to be acceptable to HIM and allow us to dwell in HIS presence and Heaven..
We do not know what this year will bring to each individual or to the world. It could be the last one according to HIS timetable or it might not be.
We are to live in a manner that is expecting HIM to return in the CLouds and call us home.. This is called the Rapture. Those who have trusted Christ and been forgiven of their sins will in a moment be taken up to live with HIM in Heaven. The other method is by death of one who is a child of God..
I prefer the Rapture method but that means I will be around for lots of heartache and bad things happening all over the world before Christ's Second coming..
We know by the signs of the times and what Christ told the apostles and James and Paul and John, and Peter wrote them down and are there for us to read and to know.
SO while I wish everyone a good and blessed year I also want to remind us that our time here on earth is limited to HIS return to call home all those who belong to Him..
Many of us have loved ones who have already gone ahead and await our coming.. My parents, two brothers in law, one sister in law, one niece who went at age 23.
We shall see them again and they will be waiting to greet me at the Eastern Gate when I arrive.. As will your loved ones who have gone before.
Nobody KNOWS for sure what day or month or what year the Rapture and Second Coming will take place. We are admonished by the Lord to be READY and prepared. He is speaking about our HEART'S condition and relationship with HIM. Confess your sins and be cleansed in the blood of The Lamb who allowed HIMSELF to be the only acceptable sacrifice to satisfy the wrath and righteousness of The FATHER so that WE could dwell in Heaven with HIM for eternity.
We are NEAR this end time period. The moral decay of society is like it was in the days of Noah..
SO, with this admonishment, with the time we have remaining, however much that may be, I do wish for you Peace and Good Health and above all else, a close relationship with our Lord, our GOD, and Our Savior..
