I don't think it's a stupid thing to purchase. There will never be another Bob Hope who took it upon himself to boost the morale of American servicemen in war zones.

He gave of himself to our troops to brighten their day help them to laugh again..

Trust me, there ain't much laughter in a combat zone.

I think it's a great piece of an American Icon De.

I just bought the following for $115. Before you say "What an idiotic thing to spend so much money on," read the letter at the bottom. The hat wasn't just ANY hat, but part of Bob's personal wardrobe. There's likely no other like it. NOW you can say "What an idiotic thing to spend so much money on!"

I'm a big fan of his.
