I get a flu shot every year, but I make sure it is the old fashioned kind - egg-based manufactured, inactivated (killed) vaccine. Knock on zzshart's tiny lil' pinhead, I haven't had the flu in decades, now.

Yep. In 2005. I hope it's still good!

I don't have a deep seated opposition to flu shots the way that some of my friends do, though I hear tell of mRNA flu shots being designed by Moderna. Those I would never take. That said, I'm of the opinion that catching the flu while young and healthy enough that it won't kill me is probably a good thing for my immune system. I also think that the guessing game they play when designing the annual shot makes them unlikely to actually work.
