My guess is that she (and Sununu) are gambling on the courts to remove Trump from the election (perhaps by jailing him), leaving the door open for someone who was appealing to both the Democrats and most Republicans. I don't think she properly estimated the backlash her views would get from the right, though... or the rock hard support President Trump's voters have for him.

I think that Nikki only did this as a publicity stunt to get her name back out in the public. She knew she had NO CHANCE of becoming the Republican Nominee. This was only to try to draw votes away from Trump.

Didn't Trump appoint her US ambassador to the United Nations under his administration? My goodness how forgetful we become and knowing full well she didn't have a snowball's chance in an iron producing smelter of being nominated by the voters.

I think she is nothing more than a never Trumper with little credibility and definitely no sense of gratitude..
