Re: “...and now I have some ball growing in my abdomen area. what's next?”
IF the news winds up being bad, take heart knowing that 3 cm is not particularly large. They classify tumors by size, with each classification being two centimeters larger than the prior - so 1-2 cm, 3-4 cm, 5-6 cm, >6 cm. The smaller the tumor - if that's what it even is - the better the chance that it is contained to the colon and that it has not spread.

Also, colon cancer is not one of the faster moving ones. It won't be like nemo where he got the news and a few months later he was gone. You would have years of miserable therapy to embrace and horrify us with.

That's my understanding, anyway.

But let's hope it's benign. That would be great.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Hi De.

I'm o.k. Just getting a bit tired of all the various things that seem to be cropping up all at once.

The best part was when my GAstro Health Doc also said that unless we can get a good look inside he may have to open me up and remove a section of my colon.

That means a colostomy bag at least temporarily and cutting open the abdomen area, which I had done about 40 years ago with an emergency surgery to save my life then. That was a painful healing process as one cannot basically move without using those muscles. So I don't want to have to go through that again if at all possible. Don;t know for sure what the growth is inside the colon so hopefully the colonoscopy will tell them. Otherwise its another exploratory surgery..

Its great getting older. I don't know how Ribit stands it with so much fun stuff.. lol!!!!!

I find myself actually getting a little depressed so I have to fight that. Too many things happening all over again at once and now I have some ball growing in my abdomen area. what's next?

I just want to be fat, dumb, and happy.. I got two out of three covered already...
