She couldn't understand that the time I spent on her board was an attempt to help her by revealing the gaping holes in her understanding on a myriad of topics. In the end, her delusions were more important to her than an understanding of . . . of ANYTHING. She prefers to spend her time surrounded by people who are incapable of challenging her misguided beliefs.

Even that isn't going well for her. In the non-virtual world of Mahopac, New York, clo has no friends. I've joked before about how, of her 100+ Facebook friends, not one of them is black. (It's not really a joke since she PREFERS to be seen as so "enlightened." I figured she'd have a MOSTLY colored friends' page, but no.) However, she doesn't have any white friends either. Not away from the computer. That's what a lifetime of leaching off of others gets a person.
