"Black History is normal as all other History".
Wow. Events that have occurred in the same day we live in are called "current". Historical events are, well, Historical events that actually happened. It should not matter what skin color of peoples. What about Egyptian history for example? One of the earliest civilizations we know LOTS about and keep learning about their dynasty each year. WHAT color was their skin? It wasn't Caucasian..
SO what color history do we designate them?
Obsession with pigmentation borders on the ludicrous and stupidity. None of the archaeologists are referring to the pigmentation color of the Pharaohs they find. They are Historical persons who ruled in the most well known civilization of the ancient world.
History of civilizations that were dark skinned or not caucasian are in abundance.
Did we forget the Persians, Greeks, Medes, Amalakites, and a host more?
I am sorry I cannot get excited or interested in being excited about black skinned only people day and pretending it somehow moves me.
I would like to see a day celebrating the UNDERGROUND RAILROAD or how about the families north of the MASON Dixon line who had fathers and brothers give their lives for people they did not know and yet they went and ultimately the people who were enslaved were set free.
WHY isn't that celebrated andmade a BIG DEAL about?
Seems quite a BIT racist to me to make such a big fuss about a race of folks and forget about those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and did not even know ANY of those they helped free. FAR MORE white skinned families were left fatherless or had children (brothers) DIE to make it possible for those enslaved to be set free.
Nothing ever seems to be said about the horrific price that was paid by the people of the North and their families. They loist far more than the former enslaved people who were enslaved by their own race over in Africa and nothing is said about that either..
Convenient and intentionally forgetful facts that are always leftout and missing.
WHITE MAN BAD is the mantra of black Non-history time...
