What I think is that the rest of the NATO countries and members start contributing more to that effort and the U.S. LESS than we have been and continue to do.
We seem to always be footing the vast majority of aid and spending when we belong to an alliance.
On another subject, IMO, the Congress should not be allowed to approve any legislation for any reason unless there is a balanced budget in place and being followed..
How easy it is to keep on coming up with all kinds of things to make new and improved stuff that we cannot afford and do not have the money readily available..
JMO but we really need to get as close to spending what we actually have and in our means.
But we know that likely is never gonna happen..
