I tend to kill everything I touch. Miz micro successfully had a few plants that produced last year. All Roma.
Apparently they love DOG **** that was put in the ground years ago where those plants grew.
I dig large and deep holes in various places and when I pick up the yard from Charlie's droppings I put it in the hole with a little dirt so it will eventually break down.
The Night Crawlers love it apparently.
I was tilling the former bed alongside the house a couple years ago and stopped. As I was standing in the new bed for a few minutes I looked down.
A NIGHT CRAWLER that was about half an inch diameter and 12 inches long, close to 18 inches when stretched out, was crawling over top of my shoe..
I freaked out. That thing looked to me like a small snake it was so big.. Apparently the worms like the manure...
I HATE nightcrawlers and am not fond of snakes. Saw enough of them in "Nam. And those were huge and could kill ya in under two steps. Viper. Highly venomous and deadly.
Anyway, its not my thing... It's miz micro's and I do all the work.. You know how that goes......
