They don't care if the money is repaid. They don't care what it's used for. They just want more and more to be lent.

The Federal Reserve is an independent organization operating in a tight partnership with Congress. Thus, it's a hybrid between government and private. Its officers are very much motivated by power and enriching themselves. The officers aren't much motivated by helping the U.S. (the same can be said of Congress) - except that they don't want the cushy arrangement they've got to end.

Same with Iran/Hamas/Gaza vs Israel.
Biden gives Iran money, Iran gives it to Hamas, Biden gives Gaza/Hamas money, and Biden gives Israel money

Endless wars funded by the American taxpayers.
