zim says I suspect it might be a couple of decades before Russia can field a credible threat against NATO.

I thought we were pissing away our military stockpile and taxpayer $$$ to prevent Russia from moving on to NATO countries? But now they’re not a credible threat? I still don’t understand why this war is suppose to involve America? Why do we need to pour all our money into this war. Why shouldn’t NATO do that? Or Canada,or Brazil,or India?

CTJ Our war is with China. China is sitting back and letting Russia destroy us.


Russia is not 'destroying U.S.'. We have drawn down our ammunition stockpiles helping keep the Russians from over-running Ukraine . . . But our tanks and planes and men are not being killed.

In Ukraine, however, what Russia has lost to date in both men and material . . . I suspect it might be a couple of decades before Russia can field a credible threat against NATO.

I'm more concerned about using up so many anti-missile missiles fending off Houthi terrorist attacks (ballistic missiles provided by iran . . .). In a war with China we will need a LOT more of those than most other munitions.
