But Tommy Tuberville, when first asked about the Alabama court ruling, was 100% for it, until someone explained that it would hurt families using IVF, which he immediately claimed that he supported IVF. But then he had to be told that you can't be for what the court said and still support a couple's right to use IVF without fear of getting caught-up in legal issues. So over a three-minute period of time, Tuberville went full circle. In the end he said he would have to wait until he read the legislation (he totally missed the fact that this was a ruling by the courts and had nothing to do with bills being passed in the state legislature).
