We have three auction pickups Saturday... a total of just nine lots. Most are small things: Some Celtic Stained Glass my wife bought ($28 ), some kitchen appliances, bowls & pans, a closet organizer (worth $200 new, we paid $27), a little bit of art, a "Euro Pro" Toaster Oven ($5) and a set of 80 vintage comic books ($12). The most interesting item is an Asus All-in-One Computer bought for $11. It works, but the BIOS-based password is unknown... and I don't know how difficult it may be to reset it. Without the password, we can't even format the hard drive... making the computer useless. There's got to be a way, though. We haven't owned one of these before. As you can see, there's no "box." It's just a monitor and keyboard. Thanks to the lack of additional photos or description, we don't even know its model or specs. It'll be a good and probably frustrating learning experience.

Here's something you don't see too many of. To me, it's a LOT more interesting than a simple autograph. It's both dated and includes the handwritten opening bars of the composer's most famous work. But I didn't bid on it.

It's cool. Just not $253 cool.
