Hi Zim!

I do not disagree with what you are saying. However,

what is the population of Russia versus that of Ukraine?

I am never in favor of being sent to the slaughterhouse by a dictator but methinks Russia can afford to lose a whole lot more troops than Ukraine can..

It's a numbers game. In addition, at what point do we as a nation finally declare bankruptcy ourselves? We are supporting this ongoing effort as usual almost single handedly once again, (not completely but we bear the brunt and bulk), so in addition to spending all the money for all the illegal invaders coming into our country and sending money by cargo ship loads over there we don't have the reserves to support, how much longer before we ourselves become extremely vulnerable..

If we spend all our energy and lots of our military resources that takes a lot of time to replace, what condition will we ourselves be in if one of many enemies decides its a prime opportunity to challenge us????

Ribs and me already fought in one war. I'll defend my own interests at this point but am not half the Marine I once was, and likely not one fourth of that person.

So, we're in deep crap should our enemies decide its time to do some serious testing against us imo....

I'm not saying THAT is what is going to happen, but what if it did?

I just wanted to die of old age and be happy. Never thought I might have to learn a new foreign language...

Too old for that..... lol!!!

I don't believe Ukraine's casualties are anywhere near that figure.

Adding up 70,000 plus 120,000 comes up a LOT short of a 'half a million'. 'Somebody' LIED.

On the other hand, Russia's casualties are estimated to be 400,000. From early in the war Ukraine was blowing apart Russian tanks, Russian fuel trucks, Russian troop transports. HIMARS missile systems were used to very good effect to kill Russian troop concentrations and supply depots.

Between 2014 and 2022 NATO spent quite a bit of time training the Ukrainian Army. Trump sent Ukraine Javelin anti-tank missiles. Ukraine is also said to have excellent battlefield medical care, Russia - not so much.

Russia is sending poorly trained troops into Ukraine to get slaughtered. Ukraine has a LOT of combat veterans now - both well trained before the war and now well trained and experienced.

Russia is also said to be not meeting their recruiting goals.
