Re: “One of these days I'll go back down to the cardiologist and have him check this out.. My CT scans are okay.. So what is up with the jolt ?”
I'm sorry to hear about that.

When I wore my heart meter for two weeks, nothing was detected related to the symptoms I had described. But at a time when I'd felt nothing unusual, the meter detected ventricular tachycardia. My doctor said it didn't last 30 seconds - which would have put it into a different, more-serious class - but that it was still a potential risk. "A potential risk of what?" I asked. "A risk of sudden death." he said.

Okay. I guess that's a concern.

He said he wanted to do an MRI just to see what is going on. I received paperwork from my insurance company saying that it was denying the request due to insufficient evidence of a need but that the requesting doctor can appeal the decision within 14 days. A second letter said he can appeal within 60 days. The paperwork said that he'd been informed. I waited 14 days and heard nothing. I waited 35 days and heard nothing. I called my cardiologist's office and asked about it and they said, "You were denied? We were wondering about it. We received nothing!" So they filed a very late appeal and waited. The insurance company denied the appeal.

My cardiologist called to tell me and to say that he was just going to re-submit the request, including everything but the kitchen sink. TWO DAYS LATER I was called by my hospital to schedule the MRI. I told them I hadn't heard yet from my insurance company which had been balking at the request. They said, "Oh, they approved it already."

LOL. It pays to be persistent.

I'm not on Medicare yet. Good thing! I wonder how that would have gone. Is Medicare better or worse about approving expensive tests? I would think worse. After all, practically everyone who kicks the bucket is on it.

I DID IT!!!!!! Propeller Propeller Woot! Woot! Very Happy Very Happy

It wasn't too bad. It transferred itself from the old phone to the new one sitting next to one another.. I was thrilled.

I have checked the APN settings and they are correct. So she has a new Galaxy A54 which is all she or I need and likely much more than I need.

I am not on any social media nor do I want to be. I use it for basics and occasionally for driving directions.

I text my clients and call them. Occasionally Miz micro when I am gone for awhile or driving on a trip cuz she frets about me.. She hasn't figgered out yet how well off she would be without me but she could buy a house anywhere she wanted to and maybe have her older sister who is single move in with her and share the house.

I promised her that she would never be without a home and always had a place to stay. That has no ending.. We are supposed to take care of family and strangers when we can.
God blessed me in mighty ways in my career and I am just playing around now. So we have plenty without the gubmint sending me a "congrats on being old" monthly donation every month..

So I am excited for getting that phone done and watching her being excited for it and yapping to her sisters and our daughters.

Meanwhile, me and Charlie (my 5 year old boy dog) are jes laying on the recliners in the family room. He is a Red Heeler/yellow lab combo and exceptionally smart. He takes commands and obeys and better still, remembers.

He is affectionate and very protective of us when a stranger comes around. He is 70 pounds.

SO, its time for me to lay down a spell.

I really think my heart condition causes me to wear out much quicker than I did before.

So I get sharp pains once in awhile from it, enough to buckle my knees. Kinda scary for me. I don;t know what is going on which is what is scary. One of these days I'll go back down to the cardiologist and have him check this out.. My CT scans are okay.. So what is up with the jolt ?

Oh well..... I've rambled enough. I'm wore out.

See you all tomorrow Lord willing..

Have a wonderful evening everyone !!!!

Yer pal,
micro...
