Well De,
Given that Putins little 'walk in the park' invasion of Ukraine went down faster than the Titanic . . .

Given that Russia lost the bulk of their front line armor . . .

Given that Russia is NOT making their recruiting goals . . .

It's easy to say look at how much larger Russia's population is that Ukraine . . . But how many more factory workers can the Russian economy afford to lose before it implodes?

By the way, you might try doing a search for "Russia heating infrastructure problems".

I don't know when winter ends in Russia . . . but right about now I'd bet that they are praying for some 'man made global warming'.

Zim.

Re: “I know you aren't a "Quitter".”
Sorry to disappoint you, but I absolutely DO believe in cutting my losses when necessary. I guess that makes me a quitter?

More important than cutting losses, though, is to choose your battles - which I do. It was never very likely that we could help Ukraine beat Russia and we shouldn't have tried. *WE* could do it... sure... but with boots on the ground. Instead, we wanted little Ukraine with a population smaller than California's to do it. It was a sucker's bet from the start.
Re: “Can't figure out why you think it is "Impossible" for Ukraine to WIN.”Ukraine is losing in just about every category. But the most important one might be MEN. All of its young men are gone and there's no way to get more of them. The average Ukrainian soldier is 43. Russia is doing just fine in this category, but Ukraine is not. And the mismatch grows worse by the day.

You know, I find it perplexing that Russia scares the bejesus out of you. Yet you think that little Ukraine with its old man fighting force and 37 million population should be able to do it. Given that, militarily, it is in far worse shape than it was two years ago, explain why you think there's any way it can win! Maybe by recruiting its old women?
