A friend of mine is in Mexico with her husband on their boat. She is Canadian. She messed up her knee. Got an MRI down there. Cost her $340 USD. They just paid cash. She had to wait three hours to get in. They’re in Puerto Vallarta. She thought about flying back to Canada to get it done but the wait for the MRI would have been 8 months. She dislocated her kneecap and ripped something. She’s going to have it fixed down there next week.
The doctor is an American who set up a practice there. He has a practice in Scottsdale AZ. But does many of his operations in Mexico. Sort of an operation & recovery & vacation thing..
