I am sorry to hear what She is missing out on. I have two close friends who are black and the nicest guys and family around. They aren't any different than me and enjoy the same things. They are however, educated, and well spoken with well behaved children who are now young adults.
An engineer I used to work with long ago named "Scotty", a nickname we gave him, his real name was James (Jim) and his last name was Scott, was one of the nicest people one could ever meet. He was a wonderful person.
Sometimes if folks would just take time to be courteous and get to know someone they would discover what they are really missing. Friendships that last a lifetime.. Now Scotty and I are just two old guys but not petrified like someone on this board..... We remain good friends.
My Liver Doctor is a black doctor who is twice as smart as I will ever be.. He is not originally born here in the U.S. but has become a U.S. citizen and is a
preeminent Gastroenterologist. He is the one who saved my liver and got me back to health and now is working on a different problem he saw in my colon.. Hopefully it is not cancer..
