In all honesty and fairness, yer majesty ... in my humble opinion, I do believe Decomp was referring to the ballot box, rather than the battlefield ... BUT, I do understand your use of snark, here.
Okay, okay ... let's all step it back a notch, shall we?
Pooty Poot is an evil piece of garbage who most definitely needs to be put out of everyone else's misery. HE is in the WRONG and needs to be defeated.
Problem is ... Zelenskyy is no choirboy. I have little doubt that he is a corrupt lil' bastard and certainly not above kicking back "10% to the Big Guy." However, Zelenskyy is desperately fighting for his and his country's very existence and "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is very applicable, here. Again, in my humble opinion, we should be doing the following:
1. Send military aid to Ukraine - basic weapons (small arms, artillery, anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, and ammunition), but NOT our top-of-the-line tanks, jets, helicopters, and tactical missiles - because we certainly do not need them falling into Russian hands.
2. We do NOT need to send general aid (i.e., cash) to Ukraine because the U.S. taxpayers have no business funding any of Ukraine's social programs or seeing any of our money siphoned off into corrupt pockets - every dollar of aid or military equipment needs to be accounted for!
3. We should not be depleting our military stocks to the point where we undermine our own defense needs and we should not be spending money on Ukraine like a drunken sailor in a whorehouse. Our federal government is already woefully bankrupt enough as it is.
4. If we can, we need to help the Ukrainians get their grain to market. I don't know what that would entail, but it would certainly help if they could sell their produce.
5. As I have said before, we need to beat the Russians to death with our best weapon - oil & gas. Drill Baby Drill and bring down energy prices. Transport natural gas to Europe. Bankrupt the bastards who are in charge of the Russian government to where they can't afford to buy toilet paper, let alone fund a war. I really do not wish ill on the Russian people ... because I believe they are the victims of Putin, as well ... but, Russia needs to be economically brought down onto its knees. I get the feeling that this is what Trump will do if he gets back into The White House. Biden is simply going to spend us into oblivion and ultimately get us into a shooting war.
