We took a day trip out to the desert, near the Salton Sea, to see the spring wildflowers. We only sae one big patch, but it was a very nice day out. We ate lunch sitting outside with 78Ëš temps at Borrego Springs. Then we drove over the mountains back toward the ocean and got home around 6:45pm. Drove about 330 miles total.
