Try thinking about it this way. There is a quarter ton of goodies you would like to move fifty miles to your house. Your truck has enough gas (maybe) to get you to the goodies . . . And EVERY gas station within 500 miles has NO gas.

How do you get the goodies to your house?

If Ukraine destroys enough Russian refineries . . . how does Russia move beans and bullets (and artillery shells) from wherever they can get them into Ukraine?
