I had always told my sons to use protection, along with my daughter, when they were at that age where they might have sex.

When my teenage son was in a relationship that I knew had progressed, and her mother wasn't someone she could talk to about this, I offered to take her to planned parenthood. She was grateful & I took her.
They discussed her choices with her.

On the ride back she thanked me. I suggested some day she might help another, that's how it works.

I did all I could to protect both of them.
I believe that was my role as a parent.

People in this country can't complain about abortions & refuse birth control!
This is 2024.... it is insane.


Do something positive.

The standards aren't the same where doctors prescribe drugs. Parents are involved in other such medical decisions for their minor children.

And as you know, minors are treated as especially vulnerable in US law from a sexual viewpoint.
