I am sorry to hear that. It will be a long time before I go thru that again if ever as well. Nothing was found except one tiny pollop they already knew about and fretted it somehow was what gave me diverticulitis.
I admit this was the first and LAST colonoscopy for me and the results were exactly what I predicted so I won;t waste any more time or go through that ridiculous preparation again.
They can look at my butt hole all they want after I am dead and I won't care.. Ain't happening again..
IN your case, you have every right to be pizzed and I would as well. You should send them an invoice for your time just to see the reaction. Sure they aren't going to pay it but there is a small bit of satisfaction in letting them know that YOUR time ain't free either..
I did this about a couple years ago. I only charged them $200./hour.
They got my point pretty quickly. I also got a 25% discount on the bill. My time was worth more..
So is yours. I think that is what is missing in most medical places. They honestly think they are the most important people on planet earth and nobody else comes close. I believe many would be surprised to learn their is real LIFE and other careers beyond and outside of the hospital and medicine..
I don't blame ya one iota for being a little steamed..Your time isn't worth anything , right?
