De

Living where ya do you should consider a generator that runs on gas or something that would be strong enough to provide power for basic electricity needs in case of outage.
Like for HEAT in yer house and other things. I would hate to see ya wind up as a frozen Popsicle ! lol!!! Miz De might appreciate that also.. YA wouldn't need anything spectacularly huge or large.. But it sure would be a great insurance policy for ya..

Just a thought.... Thumbs Up

I waited since January on two medical procedures - a colonoscopy and an MRI of my heart, both supposed to happen between last Thursday and this morning. The first got cancelled by the hospital when they learned of and got frightened by the second. I cancelled the second Sunday morning after a major snowstorm blocked me in. %@#%!

It was a pretty good snowstorm, though. I had virtually no advance notice -- it was supposed to be RAIN! We had no snow accumulation when the storm set in, and now we've got a foot of pristine, soggy (hard to move) snow covering the ground and 'most everything else, and no place to go unless it either melts or my builder arrives with his plow truck. It's beautiful... the best storm by far of the season! But its timing stunk.

At least the 18 hour power outage ended yesterday afternoon. It was beginning to get cold. That was why I was so late with yesterday's "Top Five"...
