Chronological FALL of the MMS - +/-

NBC wemt left, hard left, then 'woke' Starting in the 60's - ie. coverage of NAM, NAM protests, NAM in general (the so-called 'massive' war crimes of US while ignoring completely what the VC, North Viets, Laos, & Cambodia were doing). Especially telling was their complete coverup of 'The Killing Fields' and DENIAL of same, including Russkie involvement with Pol Pot.

Next came ABC, who went la-la in the early 70's.

THen came CBS who showed their ankles quite clearly in the late 90's with their showcasing of Dan Blather - and his TOTALLY FABRICATED National Guard documents about Georgie boy. GWB was NEVER a 'hard right extremist' - at best he could be described as a far-left of center moderate. Witness his implementation of US Governmen seizure and demands of getting guvmint hands on ALL our medical records under new 'reporting requirements'. That came into effect at the very start of GWB's prez term - he allowed a bill that Clinton did NOT sign at the end of Clinton's term by (GWB) not taking action to kill the bill from becoming law by default of 'no action'.

All three of the above (with HEAVY help from John McCain) promoted the propaganda campaign of HIDING the FACT that the INSURANCE COMPANIES whoooped with absolute JOY at the passage of 'Ofuhrer'Care. The lie that was promulgated was that the Insurance companies were 'very unhappy' with the new law and were losing massive amounts of money. NOT TRUE AT ALL - they may have lost a little money on the freebies being offered to a few of the poorest, but take a look at the massive increase in PROFITS (SEC filings) and incredible growth rates of their stock prices after those laws were put into place.

So, yeah, it is amusing that the MMS find Rona-squish a 'major threat', As Mr. Wizard said, nothing but smoke screen to talk about the MMS true nature today.

After NBC News announced they'd hired former RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel as a contributor, the collective journalistic hyperventilation at that network was immediate and massive. How dare a Republican soil the sanctity of the super-objective reporting/commenting on the outlet that employs former Dem staffers as serious unbiased newspeople!

Propagandists posing as "serious, unbiased newspeople," that is. 

Now there's reportedly a new concern at NBC News:

Max Tani (@maxwelltani) ~ New: NBC News staff are concerned that the hiring and abrupt firing of Ronna McDaniel will damage relationships with GOP sources, making it more difficult to break news. Some Republicans have been complaining to journalists at the network about the move.

BWHA HA HA HA HA HA!!! After all their hypocritical meltdown over the on-again-off-again hiring of a squeamish milquetoast RINO like Ronna McDaniel, NOW these caterwauling two-year-olds are worried they have somehow "damaged relationships with GOP sources"???!!! ROTFLMAO! The only relationships you pathetic hypocrites have with the "GOP" are with Democrats-in-Republican-clothing, like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. Every other Republican already knows you are leperous and won't touch you with a 10-ft. pole. Wow ... NBC and its fellow Democrat propaganda media outlets are just the modern day version of Romper Room. 

After all the BS that's been peddled on that network, The Federalist's Mollie Hemingway is among those rolling her eyes:

It's quite hilarious that NBC News would still like everybody to believe they actually care about presenting both sides of stories.

They haven't cared about being objective for the past 60 years or more. In fact, for a long time now, they have blatantly spit their bias in the face of America, which is why they are roundly mistrusted and despised by a VERY large portion of the American public.

What they do is find "Republicans" who will say anything their viewers want to hear for a paycheck (i.e. ex RNC Chair Michael Steele on MSNBC).

I'm not sure that Ronna McDaniel would have ended up being as pathetic as Michael Steele, but I think she would have been a predictable RINO squish - just like her ridiculous father. 

segmentum (@segmentum1) ~ Why are they worried about no Republican news sources? Your top anchors can simply make up news and false narratives like they have always done. Your viewers won’t know the difference if it’s lies, and won’t really care, either.

Chuck Ross (@ChuckRossDC) ~ They shouldn't worry. Any GOP source who would talk to NBC journos in the first place won't suddenly blacklist them over this.

If they would still talk to NBC News at this point the term "GOP sources" should be used with the most exaggerated finger quotes possible.
