It has seldom, in the last 200 million years, been this cold. We are still in an ice age. That is just a fact, which is very well documented, which is very well documented but not useful for governments and corporations to point out. The record shows that if global average temperatures got considerably warmer, it would probably be much better for most life on earth.

PLASTICS, CHEMICALS, AGRICULTURAL FOREST CLEARING, URBAN SPRAWL, WARS, OVERHUNTING/FISHING etc. would all be useful things for the government to try to vastly better regulate. And they could probably vastly improve those problems in a few years with a lot less money than they currently get for "warring" on climate and "terrorism".
