It's a funny thing about students.

For example, Ben Carson and his brother were poor kids but their mother took it as her mission in life to make them study hard and get educated so they could have a better life than her..

The fact is there isn't any parenting going on in those students or children's life. The apple did not fall far from the tree. The cycle just keeps repeating. There are always exceptions. I wish the exceptions would become the norm.. I believe if they did change for the better in society would come about...

Its just what I think... fwiw

Blacks dominate in basketball. And boxing. And murders. Statistically, intellectual pursuits just aren't their thing.

But I understand what Seattle Public Schools is trying to do. It just wants to experience a little success, and dumbing down the white kids is far more achievable than smartening up the black ones.
