With Joe Biden so confident of re-election, they sure are issuing rules that would hamstring a President Donald Trump from doing his job. They're panicking, and the desperation is palpable.
Afraid that Trump would clean house, the Biden administration issued a new rule to protect federal workers from being fired.

Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) ~ We are constantly told that there is no "deep state." Then Donald Trump threatens to re-establish unitary control of the executive branch, as per the Constitution -- and Joe Biden's response is to protect the deep state. So yeah, there's a deep state.

To me, there are two things of note, here:
1. The Twitchy editor, Brett T., already alluded to the first one, above - this move by Brandon REEKS of unnerved desperation. The Democrats earnestly believe that Brandon is gonna LOSE in November, so they're doing everything they can think of to fortify the Deep State bureaucracy. WOW ... that's a real show of confidence, isn't it? NOT!
2. The POTUS is the head of the Executive Branch, which includes the bureaucracy. The bureaucrats serve at the President's pleasure. This "rule" that Brandon is putting in place is an Executive Order. As the current President, Brandon has just demonstrated that his Executive Order can override a previous President's Executive Order, at will. Therefore, the next President can likewise override this Executive Order, at will. These people are childish idiots if they think this Executive Order is somehow "permanent."
