Welp

I am glad to know that some great state got to enjoy the actual eclipse... I never noticed a change in light at all and I was outdoors riding the mower the whole time..

I'm sure it occurred somewhere for some folks but it sure wasn't in my neck of the woods... Disappointed..

On a better note, I enjoyed a wonderful luncheon earlier with a very long time friend of mine who also is my financial broker and planner. There wasn't any need to talk business. We are just two old guys months apart in age who have known one another for over 42 years now.. A very talented person and great woodworker and cabinet maker. We share woodworking as a hobby and know several mutual friends so its always a fun time catching up..

He did advise me to go ahead and pay for the funeral costs now as well as a casket so my wife won't have to worry about it and one less expense at that time.

I'll take him up on that... SO my financial investments are in great shape and miz micro will have no financial worries at all. I will worry about my best friend who is on four legs.. HE will be devastated as we are best friends and he is very close to me.. Not nearly as much to miz micro.. Its because I pay him lots of attention and play with him outside , inside, anywhere. He never lets me out of his sight either. He's four now...

Right before the full eclipse, it was like dusk, and then it got dark for a few minutes - not quite like the middle of the night, but dark enough that our automatic lights in the backyard popped on.
