What is the footprint of this hoop house, De? Maybe this guy can level off a patch nearer your house that will accommodate it?

Re: “I can't believe that in all of your spare time you haven;t erected a greenhouse yet....”
I bought a small hoop house last year. The frame is sitting in pieces outside. I just need to find a spot and set it up.

It's a problem that I don't have much flat land. Except for the top of the hill, everything is at various degrees of slant. I don't think that's what you want for a hoop house.

The top of the hill - which is pretty flat - doesn't have good access to either water or electricity, so I need a spot near the house. There's a fellow coming later this year to regrade the back yard. The water coming down the hill currently flows across my yard and to the left - onto my driveway - when we want it flowing to the right to the stream below. Therefore, it would be prudent to set up the hoop house well clear of where he'll be working. That limits my options.

I suppose I can just set it up this year and relocate it next year. Or I could buy an excavator and learn how to use the thing. It would be nice to be able to regrade my yard at will. Or I could just wait and not use the hoop house this year. It's already getting a little late after all.
