Good point De!

I am in favor of returning to the time when Congress critters were part time employees and Congress was only open select months of the year in order to conduct business and let those representatives go back to their farms and businesses.

Its amazing what can get done if one has to do that within a set of time period.. How much crazy crap would nothave time to be conjoured up and better still, how many nutjobs would not be interested anymore because they are not going to be anybody and live off the taxpayers anymore?

Only the sincere and serious and qualified would have interest imo. Take away all those benefits and extras these lavishly overpaid people get and let's see how many are still left.

I hope NONE to a few.. Those few would be the ones who actually are there because of the country and not trying to become a millionaire due to being there...

Unfortunately, money is also the reason why, in the long run, Trump will fail. He might stave off the collapse of the United States for a few years, but he can only be President for four years. At the very best, he can reverse the direction of the country for that long. When he's gone though, there is nobody to take his place. The pillaging will resume... probably with a vengeance.

The only meaningful things Donald Trump can do are to add still more conservative judges to the Supreme Court and to shut down EVERY government agency, all 438 of them, rebuilding from scratch the few we Americans actually need.
