Yeah, so-called "presidential historians" like Michael Beschloss and Doris Kearns Goodwin, who are not scholars, but pathetic, boot-licking propagandists. Decades ago, I would sometimes watch the MacNeil/Lehrer Report - mainly to hear what Paul Gigot (an editor for The Wall Street Journal) had to say about issues of the day. That was where I learned that Michael Beschloss, Doris Kearns Goodwin, and Gigot's replacement on later versions of the show, David Brooks, are insipid, childish, feckless poseurs for the statists. These "polls" are simply laughable attempts at pure propaganda - what the Democrats like to refer to as "disinformation." But, they do serve one purpose - they're the stinky lil' turds that feed the empty, mindless lickspittles of the Democrat Party, like the Pffffarters.
