You are correct ... Jordan has been on amicable terms with Israel for quite some time, but if I am the Jordanian ruler, I do this for a couple of better reasons than I am simply doing the Israelis a favor:

1. Those assholes are violating MY sovereign air space with flying bombs! #&@* YOU ... that simply ain't happenin' - period, end of story - because this is effectively an act of war.

2. Those are flying bombs, damn it! What if some of them cut out and fall on my people?! I realize the technology is better than that of 1944, but these damn things are pretty much V-1 buzz bombs for goodness sakes. You cannot guarantee all of them are going to make it across.

Towards the end of his first term, Trump was making real good progress in creating bonds of cooperation between Israel and many of the Arab countries around them. They DO have a very real, common enemy - Iran.

Jordan airforce shoots down Iranian drones flying over to Israel

AMMAN (Reuters) -Jordan's air force intercepted and shot down dozens of Iranian drones that violated its airspace and were heading to Israel, two regional security sources said.

They said the army was also in a state of high alert and radar systems were monitoring any drone activity coming from the direction of Iraq and Syria.

Residents in several cities in the northern part of the country near Syria and central and southern areas heard heavy aerial activity.

In neighbourhoods south of the capital Amman, 60 km (37 miles) from Jerusalem, several downed drones were seen.

I find this quite promising.
That at least one of Israel's neighbors are willing to 'help defend' Israel by shooting down iranian drones.

But I suspect several of the Arabic countries 'need' to ally themselves with Israel against iran. Remember the Abraham accords Trump managed to achieve?

As just one example I give you Saudi Arabia - who have had rockets and drones shot at them by iranian proxies. (The same houthis currently trying to shoot up shipping in the Red Sea.)
