Undeniably true.
Democrats love to pontificate about "democracy," as if it is the end all, be all ... the cure of all that ails us. But, as per usual, Democrats prove time and time again that they are ignorant, unstable children ... pure democracy is nothing short of mob rule ... and even back in ancient Rome, they knew that the mob is fickle. The mob's rage, once satiated by the destruction of its chosen "public enemy" du jour, will turn its deadly attentions to yet another "public enemy" very easily and quickly. This will continue until absolute chaos reigns or others step up and give the mob a very nasty, bloody nose such that it clearly impresses it is no longer so cool to be a part of the mob any longer.
The genius of our country's Founding Fathers was in creating a system of government - a Constitutional Republic, NOT a Democracy - with the intent of protecting the inalienable, individual rights of all Americans against tyrannical rule - whether by totalitarian government or mob rule. The system they came up with is not flawless, but it was a damn good attempt. One that could still be going strong if we the American people cherished it enough, but unfortunately, people being people, we have managed to fubar it. And then you have some people (i.e., Democrats), who see our Constitutional Republic and supremacy of individual rights over governmental rights as a hindrance to their perpetual rule over everyone else. So, Democrats create mobs of "victims" and set them upon the throats of the general populace (and sometimes against each other) in hopes of securing power ... and also in hopes that the mob will eat them last. It's kind of like unleashing an automatic doomsday machine that runs amok.
But, of course, the real issue here is that we have a sin problem - we are our very own worst enemies - and humanity will continue to degrade and destroy until GOD finally says, "Enough!" ... and GOD shows beyond any contestation, whatsoever, that HE is in charge - period, end of story, fini.
