well De,

I have a soft spot for all animals but realize that GOD made them and put them underneath MAN'S dominion for food and milk. God Himself required a MEAT offering of the People.
As for the BLOOD, that was offered onto GOD as a sacrifice for atonement in the OLD Testament. In the New Testament era the Blood offering that Christ made on the Cross was sufficient for ALL of our sins for all people for all time. It was HOLY and Divine.. THAT satisfied the requirement of GOD the Father. It was what made the gift of Salvation possible.

The blood of Christ cleanses us from all our sin.
SO animal sacrifices are no longer needed to atone as a sin offering. JESUS PAID IT ALL.

I have a soft spot for animals. ALL animals. Unless they attack me or threaten me or my family. Then it's a whole new ball game.

By and large animals will leave you alone if you are not threatening to them. Of course there are exceptions like the big cats and Bison, Buffalo and others but if ya keep yer distance from them they generally won't pay any attention to you. They know they are 100 times yer size.

Having to put down a pet that turns aggressive toward humans is normal and if you know them it is also painful for you to have to do..

I had to have my vet put down two of my dogs in my lifetime and I loved them both.. IT is a hard thing but they were both very sick.. One had cancer in her bladder and the other developed Cushings disease. It was awful..

My newest boy has brought joy back into my life. He is an Australian Cattle Dog mostly with some Yellow Lab and German Shepherd mix. He is by far the smartest dog I have ever known. He understands what my wife and I are saying and we can talk to him like a normal person. He knows what we are saying..

So animals are and can be really affectionate but sometimes they get very sick and for their sake you have to put them down to keep them from suffering,.. Other animals were intended by GOD as FOOD for mankind.

It is ALL according to HIS plan.. It's called "LIFE".

So, I would say the wimps on the wimp board haven't a clue.... Then again, we already knew that.....

Putting down sick or overly aggressive animals is par for the course for homesteaders and farmers”clo and zz are having a tantrum over Governor Noem's memoir, in which she recalls two cases where she personally put down aggressive animals. They ignore the above sentence from zz's article.

Both eat meat. But they don't have the stomachs for the dirty work of actually MAKING meat. They're a couple of pussies.

Every so often, they talk about civil war. They think liberals could kick conservatives' butts. It's laughable. I think they'd be too busy running away to kick any butts.

I'm not interested in raising goats because I don't want to kill them. Sheep, I'm willing to do. Sheep are stupid. But goats have personalities akin to dogs. They'll follow you around and play. They'll come if you call them. They'll look you in the eyes. You have to be pretty tough if you're going to raise goats for meat. Maybe I'll get there in time, but not just yet.
