I had an MRI last week which, I'm happy to say, showed my heart to be operating "within normal limits." In other words, they aren't seeing anything wrong with it.

As my cardiologist explained it, the ventricular tachycardia I experienced last fall could have been indicative of a problem with the right ventricle. That would carry serious risk.

When I asked him, "Serious risk of what?" he said, "Serious risk of sudden death."

But the MRI has now ruled that out so all is good in my world. Well, kind of good. They still don't know why I had tachycardia. And since I never felt it, I don't know if it was a one time thing or a regular occurrence.
