Thanks Zim!

I knew there was at least ONE normal person on the board.... Laughing Laughing

My son in law and I are talking a little about a bugout piece of land a couple counties (rural) to the east and were thinking of building a small cabin there for a bugout place should AHBL.

I need to go to shooting at the range soon also. Need to get my sight adjusted on the "rifle" in case I need to use it.. Haven't done that yet as a few medical things came up in between... May be a little while yet as I am only at about between half to three quarters got any stamina back yet. closer to half.. I can drive about four hours or so but am fatigued. SO that tells me I have a way to go.. I used to drive about ten or more and was never tired. So I think stamina is in need to be rebuilt still.

Micro > how much cash would be a good amount at keep at home?

I suspect that amount would vary as much as individuals do.

If one has no problem living like a hermit in the woods... A 'cash stash' of a couple hundred dollars might work.

If one requires five star hotels to stay in, one probably should have ten or twenty thousand dollars squirreled away.

Zim.
