micro (and you too, ribit):

Consider adding turmeric (a spice) to your diet. I just have. I started on 1,000 mg pills daily this week. You can get them over the counter from any drugstore or Amazon.

A doctor told an extremely smart friend of mine that turmeric is about the only dietary supplement with proven inflammation benefits. He gave it a try and, about four months later, it suddenly dawned on him that his problems were gone. He recommended it to me, and I think highly enough of what he says that I'm giving it a shot too.

Read what HopkinsMedicine.org has to say (see the link, below.) It's pretty amazing... it helps with all sorts of things: Inflammation, kidney function, arthritis and cholesterol, to name a few.

You clearly have more to gain from this than I do. At worst, in 6-months you might say that it didn't help. All it'll cost you is a few bucks.
