Do you remember Jackie from the TYCO board on Raging Bull?

She lives in Katy also, we talk weekly.
She called today & mentioned the 100 mph winds, they have power.

Our oldest son lives in Katy, which is on the western edge of Harris county, which was where most of the damage was done. We talked to him last night and he said that they still had power at his house, but there were outages as close as a block way. And two of the three restaurants he's responsible for, in the Houston area, were without power. He also said that not far from Katy, the high tension lines had come down including several of the large power-line towers. He said that there were 100 mph winds reported, the strongest ever recorded which were not the result of a hurricane or tornado.
