A Union Boss?

No sir. I did get rid of the UAW from the company by relocating the company three counties away.

As for tomato plants, I have about about a dozen that need planting . I figger a small hole with good fertilized soil for each would be good.

Right now I am allowing my softball playing Granddaughter who is a good size young lady and strong run the self-propelled mower over our Yard area.

Its as good an excuse I can find to give her a hundred dollars. She's studying medicine in college and wants to be a Physicians Assistant.

She is really growing up from High School days.. Next year she starts her Junior year at the University..

I am very proud of her for sticking it out. She is NOT the smartest but works hard. Plus she has a great personality and is very kind. And she is The Catcher on the University's Softball team.. She will be a 4 year starter. 2 down and 2 to go. She led the League in throw down outs from runners trying to steal on her. Her put out percentage was over 90 percent. She has a Cannon for an arm.. She can throw from squatting position with force and accuracy to second. She led the lead in pick-offs at first also.

She is growing up.. A fine young lady who is maturing..
Proud of her. In High School we did not know if she had what it would take to play on the Softball Team and be on the road in tournaments and still keep her grades up taking all kinds of science classes..

She did it.. It was hard but she did it.

So I'll see if I can help her monetarily with whatever she owes the school when she is done there...

Re: “is the "orchard" relative to the size of one's property?”
Absolutely not! You'll be happy to hear that orchards don't have to be big. They can be as few as FIVE trees. I bet even you suburbanites can manage that. And if you really don't have the space, I'm willing to let folks plant fruit trees on MY land -- for a reasonable fee, of course.Re: “AND.............. who is gonna dig all those large holes???”When you planted your tomatoes, did one person dig the holes while someone else planted the plant? Is that how it works in Ohio? You must have been a Union boss.
